Hall is a reporter for WAVY-TV in Hampton Roads. He previously was a multimedia journalist in New York and a reporter for CBS Radio.
Eckert is an independent media consultant and freelance writer with decades of experience in news and public relations.

Bogert, a former reporter, is communications coordinator for Bridgewater College. Her term expires in June 2022.
Cardwell is a public relations strategist for the Virginia Retirement System. Her term expires in June 2022.
Hopkins, who retired from the Miami Herald, is an independent writer & editor. His term expires in June 2022.
Jackson is editor of The MadRapp Recorder and an experienced journalist. His term expires in June 2024.
Klimko is the associate editor for Best Week Insurance. His term expires in June 2023.
Livas is an anchor and reporter for WVEC-13NewsNow (ABC) in Hampton Roads. Her term expires in June 2023.
Montilla is a reporter for NBC12. Earlier, she was at CBS19 in Charlottesville. Her term expires in June 2024.
Robinson is news director for VPM, Virginia’s home for public media. His term expires in June 2023.

South, a former newspaper editor and reporter who taught journalism at Virginia Commonwealth University, was president of SPJVA from 2019 to 2021.
