The SPJ Virginia Pro chapter is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the Region 2 conference during spring 2011. The annual conference brings student and professional journalists from Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and Washington, D.C. together for a day of workshops, and to honor student journalists at the Mark of Excellence Awards Luncheon.
The chapter board is excited to begin planning the programs and activities, and we need your help developing the program. If you are interested in joining the planning committee, please contact Nicole McMullin at 804-852-0030 or email.
In addition the regional conference, the board is beginning work on other programs and projects and needs your input. Below is a list of topics that we will be working on this year.
