Event: “Get Your Facts Straight: Addressing Shady Politics”

Hampton University and the American Press Institute will hold a free workshop in Hampton on Feb. 22.

“Get Your Facts Straight: Addressing Shady Politics” will include hands-on training in using the new Political TV Ad Archive, among other fact-checking tools; a discussion on the current state of freedom of information in Virginia; and a discussion on how the media covers social issues related to race and politics.
