We have posted video of the ceremony we held on Thursday, Feb. 3, to present the 2020 George Mason Award to Jean Boone, publisher of the Richmond Free Press, and posthumously to her husband, Ray, who founded the newspaper 30 years ago. We also have posted the program for the event.
Besides honoring the Boones, the ceremony recognized college journalists who received fellowships last summer from the Virginia SPJ,SDX Educational Foundation.
